The Future Talks Series is an exclusive programme featuring a forum with leading experts in education, scholarships, business, and international career development. The event will include presentations and panel discussions with experts and professionals, as well as interactive talk shows with Q&A sessions.

The Future Festival 2026 is a key event in Indonesia’s education sector. In 2026, it will be held with the support of LPDP and Beasiswa Garuda. LPDP is a well‑known Indonesian scholarship programme supporting master’s and doctoral studies worldwide. This year, the programme introduces Beasiswa Garuda, a new government scholarship for undergraduate studies abroad. Together, they open up opportunities for Indonesian students to study overseas – from bachelor’s to doctoral degrees.

Benefits of participating in The Future Festival 2026:

  • Direct access to a target audience interested in studying abroad
  • Enhanced visibility of your institution alongside leading global institutions and partners at Indonesia’s premier education event
  • Opportunities to establish connections with universities and government bodies for long‑term collaboration
  • A platform to present your programmes and institutional strengths

О стране

Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelagic state, comprising over 17 000 islands. It ranks fourth in the world by population, with approximately 285 million people.

Indonesia is actively developing international educational ties, collaborating with leading universities worldwide, including Russian institutions. Indonesian students are increasingly choosing to study abroad, driven by cultural interest and academic ambitions (over 500 Indonesian students are currently enrolled in Russian universities alone).

Jakarta – the capital of Indonesia – serves not only as the administrative centre but also as a key educational hub of the country. It is home to 47 universities with more than 220 000 students.

Surabaya – Indonesia’s second largest city after Jakarta, with a population of around 3 million – is known for its vibrant culture and its status as a major industrial and commercial centre. A substantial proportion of prospective students and their families reside in Surabaya.

Yogyakarta is widely recognised as the “student capital” of Indonesia: according to 2026 surveys, 63% of Indonesians choose it as their preferred destination for higher education. The fair provides access to a large pool of motivated applicants who value quality education and seek opportunities for international mobility.
