The Worldview Education Fairs are a platform that connects educational institutions with students and their parents who are interested in studying abroad. Participation in the fair gives universities direct access to Africa’s active student market. An individual approach allows educational institutions to present their programmes, engage directly with prospective students, strengthen partnerships, and expand their continental outreach. Drawing on in‑depth market knowledge and an extensive network of contacts, the fair helps educational institutions not only achieve high student recruitment results but also build long‑term relationships in Africa and beyond.
О стране
Africa is the second largest continent after Eurasia, with a population of 1.5 billion. Nigeria is the most economically developed and most populous country in Africa (over 200 million people). Its median age is just 18 years, which creates enormous potential for the education market.
Interest in Russian education across Africa remains consistently high: according to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, 35 000 students from African countries were enrolled in Russian universities in 2024. In the 2024–2025 academic year, over 26 000 citizens of African countries submitted applications to Russian higher education institutions. The Russian Government has allocated 5 000 state‑funded places for the African continent, making this region a promising direction for recruiting prospective students.
Please note the following:
Entry to Nigeria requires a visa (your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of return). A yellow fever vaccination is also mandatory. Vaccinations against hepatitis A and B, typhoid, tetanus, diphtheria, and polio are recommended. You should consult a doctor regarding required vaccinations at least 4–6 weeks before travel. It is also advisable to obtain medical insurance (a policy covering emergency care and repatriation).
